About Busy Bee Electric

At Busy Bee we are very proud of our history performing electrical work in the Cincinnati Tri-state area. Our company was started with a vision to the future some 28 years ago by Mr. Bob Oehlschlaeger. Bob founded the company on sound business principles and many years of electrical experience. Bob's vision was to create a business he could be proud of and excited about in meeting the needs of our customers. Bob surrounded himself with an elite staff of electricians who were dedicated to the same ideals and principles as he was.

The company prospered and developed a large customer base from which friendships have continued through the years. Bob retired a few years ago turning the business over to his son, Jim. Jim has continued the same ideals as his father and has taken the company to the next level utilizing his broad experience, knowledge and high technology approach to succeeding as an electrical contractor into the next millennium.

Busy Bee Electric is proud of the people who make the company what it is. The magnitude of a company's commitment to service and quality is relative to the quality and dedication of the people. Busy Bee Electric is proud of our quality people.

Our goal is to be the best electrical contractor in the tri-state. All of our energy goes into providing services that satisfy the needs of our customers.

Our Management team will assure your satisfaction with any project. Our team is consistently in the field on every project making sure that projects are completed to the customer's satisfaction and according to specified requirements.

Our Founder

With great sorrow, Busy Bee Electric announces the passing of its founder, Robert W. Oehlschlaeger.

Many older associates will remember the irrepressible "Bob O" who enjoyed working in the electrical contracting Industry before many of today's modern advancements.

Bob received training as an aviation electrician in the Navy during WWII, while stationed in the Aleutian Islands.

After the end of the war he worked in both the electrical industry and in manufacturing management until embarking on his own new venture in 1972.

When asked about his new venture, he often replied we are "Busy As Bees", hence was born Busy Bee Electric, Inc.

Bob retired from Busy Bee Electric in 1986, turning over the reins to his son, Jim Oehlschlaeger, whom many of you know as the CEO of Busy Bee today.
